Our Cast
JOnathan Thring
Jon is a young performer with a strong background in sport, bringing discipline, focus, and commitment into his developing work in film and theatre. He has channelled these qualities into performance, pursuing roles that allow him to explore character-driven storytelling.
He was cast in the lead role of Oscar during the later stages of pre-production through an online casting process. Despite joining the project at a relatively advanced stage, he quickly adapted to the demands of the role and the existing creative direction.
Drawing on personal experience of sibling relationships, Jon was able to connect with the emotional complexity of the character, particularly the balance between responsibility, conflict, and personal ambition. This grounding allowed him to deliver a performance that feels both naturalistic and emotionally engaged.
OSCAR
ISABELLE SKELLY
Isabelle Skelly is a young local performer with growing experience across film and stage. She has developed her interest in acting through involvement in student projects, including Marie Amey’s Young Creatives (TYC), as well as through collaborative work on short-form productions.
She also brings early experience from participation in independent, family-led creative projects, which has helped build her confidence and familiarity on set environments. After an extensive casting process, Isabelle was selected for the role of Charlotte, the younger sister of Oscar and James. Despite her age, she brought a strong and consistent presence to the role, balancing humour and emotional sensitivity in a way that supports the broader dynamics of the story. Her performance adds a grounded and natural quality to the character, strengthening the emotional core of the film.
CHARLOTTE
Lottie Fielder
Lottie Fielder is an alumna of The Young Creatives who returned to acting following a period away from performance. She joined the project after reaching out upon discovering the film online, bringing a strong sense of enthusiasm and commitment from the outset.
From early discussions, it was clear that Lottie connected strongly with the character of Sasha. Sasha is defined by selflessness, warmth, and emotional resilience, qualities that Lottie was able to bring into her performance in a natural and considered way.
Her portrayal is grounded and emotionally authentic, contributing significantly to the emotional tone of the film and strengthening the dynamic between the central character
SASHA
HARRY GEORGiou
Harry Andrew Georgiou brings a strong natural presence and charisma to the project, which was adapted to suit the more restrained tone of the film. His performance demonstrates flexibility in shifting between energy and subtlety depending on the demands of the scene.
Harry is an experienced actor, with previous credits including Crux and Patriot, as well as a background appearance in the sci-fi feature Project Hail Mary. His approach on set was collaborative and professional, contributing positively to the overall production environment.
DAD
Luke Feechan
James is a complex older brother character defined by impulsivity, instability, and self-interest. He often acts without considering consequences, and his behaviour is shaped by contradiction rather than consistency, creating tension within his relationships and environment.
During casting, Luke Feechan stood out in his live audition for his ability to embody this unpredictability. With a broad range of performance experience, he brings both control and volatility to the role, allowing James to feel grounded in reality while remaining unstable and difficult to read.
